The Janesville Morning Rotary Club announced five of its November Students of the Month for the 2025-26 academic year.
The students are:
Kylee Basham
Parker High School student, Kylee Basham, daughter of Emy and James Basham. She was a member of Math National Honors Society, Science National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society, Art National Honors Society, National Honors Society, Link Crew and DECA. She also participated in Parker Girls Golf and volunteered at Mercy Health and was a volunteer cheer coach at St. Matthews Evangelical Lutheran Church and School.
Basham plans to major in environmental engineering at an undecided college upon graduation.
Lillian Raby
Milton High School student, Lillian Raby, daughter of Jenny and Zach Raby. She was in the top 5% of her class among other academic achievements. She was a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, the Rock County Civics Practicum, Cross Country, Track and Field, Redhawk Marching Band, GSA Present, Substance Prevention Society, DND Club president, show band, Young Environmental Activists Club, Interact Club and Graphic Novel Book Club. She was also the secretary for the Milton Public Library Teen Advisory Board, and volunteered at various community events throughout Milton.
Raby plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to obtain a bachelor's degree in electrical and environmental engineering with big dreams of combating Climate Change.
Kieran Van Roo
Milton High School student, Kieran Van Roo, daughter of Laura and Ryan Van Roo. She was a member of National Honors Society, Unity Club, Link Crew, and maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA. She also participated in MHS Girls' Soccer program and Milton Soccer Club. She participated in service hours through MHS Unity and Soccer. She's volunteered at MMS Recreational Nights, Trick-or-Treat nights, meet raffles, Unity track meets, angel tree shopping and fundraising for Soccer Boosters.
Van Roo plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to obtain a bachelor's degree in accounting with the hope to become an accountant or financial advisor in the future.
Kaitlyn Kessler
Craig High School student, Kaitlyn Kessler, daughter of Jennifer and Daniel Kessler. She was a member of the Student Council, Spanish Honor Society, Key Club, Interact Club, National Honor Society, Blue Ribbon of Promise, Letterwoman's, High Academic Honor and organize and gave a speech at the 2025 Honor Wall Assembly. She also competed in club soccer since 2016 and varsity high school soccer all four years. She also volunteered for many different organizations in and out of school such as Bags of Hope, SJV Basketball score table, all city track meet, Wilson holiday store, Cougar retreat at Marshall, bell ringing and Enchanted Forest kids activities. She also completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program at Blackhawk Technical College.
Kessler plans to attend a four year college after graduation for nursing and possibly play college soccer.
Camden Nouansacksy
Craig High School student, 䲹dzܲԲ, son of Viengkhone and Kam Nouansacksy. He was a member of DECA, National Business Honor Society, National Honor Society, Blue Ribbon of Promise and Link Crew. He played soccer for all four years of high school. He volunteered with helping local elementary and middle schools through his work in National Honor Society and Link Crew.
Nouansacksy plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and major in marketing or business administration with the goal to later get an MBA.
