OREGON — Trey Burckhardt scored the lone goal for Milton in a 5-1 loss against Oregon in a Badger Large Conference boys soccer game Tuesday night.
“They had a few fast guys up front. It’s not all that dissimilar to what we’re going to see with Pewaukee,” Milton coach Tim Hall said. “We came into the game looking to get a similar result to what Pewaukee had against Oregon (Pewaukee lost 4-0).”
The Red Hawks recorded three total shots. With the loss Milton is now (7-8-2, 1-5-2 conference).
Up next for Milton is a home game against Whitewater on Friday at 7 p.m.

In Lake Mills, Edgerton secured a 2-0 victory over Lakeside Lutheran in nonconference boys’ soccer. Jose Diaz Florez recorded each of the goals in the first half. With the win, the Crimson Tide are 9-5-3.
“Going in I was a little worried but our midfield played super strong. We were able to possess the ball, get really good looks, and going up 2-0, we were able to hold off all of the attacks,” Edgerton coach Dean Wanless said.
In Sun Prairie, Evansville lost 3-0 in a nonconference match against Sun Prairie West.
“Our boys played a very organized compact game tonight and made it difficult for Sun Prairie West to score,” Evansville coach Brandon Jerstad said.
The Blue Devils are now 6-7-3.
