Senior quarterback Jake Cummins was named the Badger Large Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year and four Milton Red Hawks were selected to the Badger Large Conference’s first-team offense or defense for 2025.
Senior wide receiver Carson Biddick and Cummins were unanimous decisions. Senior offensive lineman Rowan Schwantes rounds out the Red Hawks’ first-team offensive selections.
Cummins threw for 1,668 yards with 18 touchdowns and four interceptions, completing 106 of 192 passes. On the ground, Cummins led the team with 612 rushing yards on 72 carries. He also scored eight rushing touchdowns.
Biddick hauled in a team-leading 35 receptions for 630 yards and nine touchdowns.

Senior running back Charlie Fitzke earned a spot on the second team. Fitzke rushed for 493 yards and picked up six touchdowns on 91 carries. His season was cut short after tearing his meniscus while Milton was preparing for a Week 6 game against Fort Atkinson.
Senior Lucas Weinert made the first team as a defensive back. Senior defensive lineman JJ Ballard, senior edge Ben Hentschel, senior inside linebacker Carter Thompson and junior outside linebacker Caden Pernot all landed on the second team.

Weinert also recovered two fumbles and recorded four passes defended, one interception and 31 total tackles. Pernot secured two interceptions and 36 total tackles. Thompson made 77 tackles. Ballard led Milton with nine sacks and totaled 57 tackles, 15 of which were for losses.
Six Red Hawks earned honorable mention recognition.
