Susan Bowes (Thruman), 58, of Roscoe, Ill. died Sept. 21 at an area hospital. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Oct. 6 at McCorkle Funeral Home — Rockton Chapel in Rockton, Ill. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the chapel Tuesday. Burial will be in Shirland Township Cemetery.
Richard P. Frank, 88, of Janesville died Sept. 22 at home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 7 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Interment at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7 Oct. 6 at Schneider Funeral Home and Wednesday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials to Orphan Grain Train or St. Paul’s Church. Daniel R. Ferguson, 83, of Edgerton died Sept. 19 at the Edgerton Care Center. A Visitation to celebrate his life will take place Oct. 23 from 3-6 p.m. at the Apfel Ehlert Funeral Home in Edgerton. The family will hold a private service and military honors prior.

John G. Sornson, 82, of Evansville died Sept. 24 at the VA Hospital. Graveside services with Military Rites will take place at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 2 at Maple Hill Cemetery. Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home is assisting the family.
