JANESVILLE -– A Janesville veteran is among more than 1,500 people charged in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol, who were pardoned Monday in a sweeping proclamation by newly inaugurated President Donald Trump.

JANESVILLE -– Mike Fitzgerald is a veteran, father, husband and a Janesville resident who’s currently dealing with stage four cancer. He also dealing with the consequences of taking part in what some have called an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
