Ed and Connie, formerly Briggs, Gretschmann will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. 

Ed and Connie were married Dec. 29, 1973 at 3 p.m. at Cargill Methodist Church in Janesville, WI. They honored it with a private celebration.

Ed and Connie are both retired. Ed worked at General Motors Assembly Division in Janesville and Connie worked in the Clinton Community School District as a teacher in Clinton. Their family includes Steve Gretschmann of Ohio; Erin and Michael Young of Sunbury, Ohio; Jennifer and Wesley Regnier of Beloit, Wisconsin; Kristin and Tom Dyutka of Appleton, Wisconsin; David and Sherri Gretschmann of Caledonia, Illinois; and Daniel and Rebecca Gretschmann of Redgranite, Wisconsin. They also have 11 grandchildren.
