Ken and Nancy Buhrow will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 11, with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. at Coachman’s Golf Resort.

Buhrow and Nancy Koppen were married Sept. 6, 1952, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Ken was an attorney with Roethe and Buhrow Law Office until his retirement in 1990. Nancy has been a homemaker. Their family includes Linda and Dan Kettner, Larry and Michelle Buhrow, Phil and Cindy Buhrow, Susan and Dan Burocher, and Libby and the late Paul Buhrow. They also have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
