Westport Town Chair John Cuccia cuts the ribbon on the completed Hwy. M project on June 10. Also celebrating the end of a nearly two-year construction project are Dane County Executive Melissa Agard and Rep. Alex Joers, along with Dane County highway officials, Dane County board members and Westport Administrator Dean Grosskopf. The project widened the road to 4-lanes from Gov. Nelson State Park to Hwy. 113, added needed turn lanes at intersections and reconstructed the Hwy. K intersection to alleviate congestion during peak morning and afternoon hours.
