Also planned are a local pet vendor marketplace, live entertainment, interactive dog-friendly games like bobbing for tennis balls and a dog/owner look-a-like contest.

Good Works Brewing Co. has specially crafted and labeled a beer for the event. Dog Days of Summer brew will be available alongside non-alcoholic options and treats from participating vendors.

Admission is $10 per person and includes full access to the gardens and all events. Children under age 6 and dogs enter free. Dogs must remain leashed and owners must follow posted guidelines.

“This event is all about enjoying the gardens in a new, playful way,” said Laura Kenyon, Rotary Gardens’ community engagement manager. “We’re excited to bring the community together for something fresh, fun, and dog friendly.”
