Rhianna Waite, a seventh-grader at Janesvilles Franklin Middle School during the 2018-19 school year, drew this dream house using colored pencils. Waites dream house includes three sky lights and a bean bag chair. Art teacher Kelly Hausknecht, who submitted the piece, writes that the rainbow poster on the right and wind through the curtained window on the left set the mood for freedom and contentment. She adds that Waite was the only student who colored in the entire piece of paper. ... Sometimes she asks for permission to take her artwork home and work on it there so she can spend more time on it. Impressiveher talent, enthusiasm to create and her dedication to her work.
