BELOIT - The Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd., in Beloit will hold its monthly Black Cinema Series featuring iconic Black films on Monday, Nov. 24 from 6-8 p.m. Free refreshments will be served. ROSCOE - The 17th Annual NorthPointe Turkey Trot will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 17. Start time for the 3-mile run is set for 8:30 a.m. at the NorthPointe campus at 5605 E. Rockton Road, in Roscoe. The entry fee is $13 for individuals, $11 per person for groups of two or three, $9 per person for groups of four to six and $8 per person for groups of seven or more. HOME RUN HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW
BELOIT – In a new tradition, ABC Supply Stadium, home of the Beloit Sky Carp, is hosting a Home Run Holiday Light Show. The walk-through display will feature more than one million lights synchronized to holiday music, as well as kids’ train rides, crafts, a Santa letter station, themed nights, character appearances, and a digital scavenger hunt. On-field igloos and fire pits will be available to rent, with food and drinks available for purchase. The show will be open nightly from 5-10 p.m. beginning Friday, Nov. 14, closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Tickets are available online at .

BONFIRE NIGHT
BELOIT – The Welty Environmental Center in Beloit is hosting an adults-only Bonfire Night at Big Hill Park on Friday, Nov. 21, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. The event will include music, hot cider and cocoa and smores; attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner and chairs. In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors.
