Crews from Klobucar Construction of Beloit work to lay out foam backing that will fills the cavity between the new concrete paving at the City Hall plaza entrance and a waterproof membrane below that is intended to keep water out of the city's employee parking area beneath the plaza. The project finally is on pace to wrap up after being fraught with with weather delays and a waterproofing mishap that have bogged the project down and halted progress for months since work started in spring 2019.

A couple of historical photos of the 169-year-old mansion paired with more contemporary photos of the home decorated for the holidays. The mansion housed Janesville’s first surgical hospital and was designed by the same architect who designed the famed Tallman House across the river.
