JANESVILLE – Learn about Ira Barnes Dutton from Janesville, later known as Brother Joseph Dutton, at the Tallman Carriage House, 450 N. Jackson St., on Wednesday, May 1 at 6 p.m.

The Rock County Historical Society presents this program on the Janesville native’s life as Dutton enlisted in the Civil War and eventually joined a Catholic monastery, becoming Brother Joseph Dutton. Local historian Pete Skelly is the presenter.
