JANESVILLE — A 64-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening for second-degree reckless endangering safety and his 8th OWI after striking a citizen who tried to assist a female the man was allegedly physically fighting in a vehicle.

Janesville officers were flagged down for a disturbance in the 300 block of South Main Street. The citizen who had observed the male and female physically fighting had intervened and helped the female out of the vehicle when Timothy Graesslin struck the person and fled the scene.
