JANESVILLE — A Janesville police officer was bitten in the 1000 block of Beloit Avenue on Wednesday morning by two “aggressive” German shepherds, after they tried to attack two people trying to leave for work.

According to a release, Rock County Dispatch received a call shortly after 5 a.m. from a citizen about two German shepherds trying to attack them as they attempted to get into their vehicle to leave for work.
