JANESVILLE — A Janesville man is facing a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide and a Janesville woman is accused of harboring a felon after a search warrrant was executed by Janesville police Friday.
A warrant for the arrest of Deonte L. Foster, 41, was filed in Rock County Circuit court on Dec. 20, according to online court records.
On Friday, Jan. 3 the Janesville police officers were able to make arrests stemming from the shooting incident that occurred on Dec. 17 at an apartment in the 300 block of North High Street, according to a news release from the Janesville Police Department.
The Janesville Police Department SWAT team executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of North High Street on Friday with assistance from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office and the ATF Task Force.
Foster was taken into custody for Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide. Just prior to the search warrant, Cerissa Cleveland was arrested at another location for Harboring a Felon. Both were held at the Rock County Jail on their charges pending their initial court appearance.
The Janesville Police Department is no longer looking for individuals involved in this incident.
