JANESVILLE — The head of the Janesville School District can now say he’s competed in — and finished — the Boston Marathon.

Superintendent Mark Holzman ran in the annual marathon on April 15. He finished in 17,249th place overall — out of 26,491 runners who started the race — and 10,600th out of 15,015 males who started the race.
