TOWN OF ROCK — The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says a Janesville man is seriously injured and faces his sixth operating while intoxicated charge after he crashed his motorcycle in the town of Rock on Saturday.

The sheriff’s officer says Jeffrey Becker, 52, of Janesville, crashed his motorcycle about 6 p.m. Saturday after he flew through a stop sign at a T-intersection at South County D and West Beloit-Townline Road.

The sheriff’s office says Becker’s motorcycle left the road and crashed at the intersection where Beloit-Rock Townline Road ends. County D runs north and south at the T-intersection and borders on a farm field.

The sheriff’s office says medics transported Becker to a hospital with serious injuries he sustained in the crash. He faces sixth-offense OWI — a Class G punishable by at least 18 months and up to 10 years in prison. The charges are pending a court date.
