JANESVILLE — Christopher Redmond of Janesville was arrested Thursday after Janesville Police Department officers, detectives and K9 Maui searched his home and reportedly found controlled substances and ammunition.

Redmond was arrested for felony bail jumping. Redmond was in custody at the Rock County Jail Thursday pending charges, which hadn’t been filed as of 5 p.m.

Redmond had previously been investigated, arrested for and charged with possession of child pornography by the police department.

Redmond was out on bond with a condition of not having access to devices capable of connecting to the internet. Allegedly during the search, “numerous devices” capable of connecting to the internet were found. Officers also found a “quantity” of controlled substances along with the ammuntion, according to a release.

The investigation is ongoing.

According to the police department, it investigated, arrested and charged Redmond with child pornography possession in 2021.
