MILTON — A four-way stop is coming to the intersection of John Paul Road and Madison Avenue in Milton, while a conversation between the city and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation continues about further safety improvements there.

The Milton Common Council voted 4-1 Tuesday night to make John Paul Road and Madison Avenue, the latter of which is also Wisconsin Highway 59 and County Highway M, a four-way stop while the Wisconsin Department of Transportation studies whether to do more there.
