A California-based company is investing $27.4 million to upgrade Woodside Terrace, a 120-unit affordable housing community in northwest Beloit.

BELOIT — A $27.4 million upgrade of Woodside Terrace, a 120-unit affordable housing community on Beloit’s northwest side, is expected to be “essentially complete” by September or October.

In January, Community Preservation Partners (CPP), a California-based company that focuses on acquiring and renovating affordable multi-family and senior housing communities across the country, announced that it had made its first Wisconsin purchase in the three-building community next to Woodman’s Market.
