DALLAS A recent shooting at a Dallas campus reignited questions about whether bolstering school security is enough to keep students safe.

At Wilmer-Hutchins High, teenagers pass through metal detectors and carry clear backpacks. Surveillance cameras are stationed at each of its entrances. Inspectors conduct sweeps of doors to ensure theyre locked from the outside.
