In a play at second base, the Cheese Kings and Maunesha battled earlier this season at JYSC and the River Rats downed the Cheese Kings Tuesday, 13-2.

WATERLOO — The Maunesha River Rats had no problem getting through the Wisconsin Cheese Kings, winning 13-2, in a Dairyland Collegiate League baseball game Tuesday at Fireman’s Park.
The River Rats scored twice in the first and third inning, but exploded for nine runs in the fifth en route to the victory.
Max Glusick had a 3-for-5 day at the plate, provided three RBIs and three runs scored for Maunesha. His day included a 2-run home run in the third inning.
Three different pitchers saw action on the mound for the Cheese Kings (6-11). Janesville native Dylan Snyder got the start. In four innings, he gave up seven hits, four runs, three earned runs and struck out one batter, while giving up one walk.
Next up for Wisconsin is the River Rats again, but this time Thursday at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex at 4 p.m. The Cheese Kings also host the Waukesha Foxes Saturday in a doubleheader 1 p.m. at JYSC.
