Wisconsin Cheese King Henry Bishop, pictured here in June, threw seven strong innings Thursday in a Dairyland Collegiate League game at the Youth Sports Complex, but the Maunesha River Rats won 6-2, including a 3-run home run from Max Pederson in the ninth inning.

Fomer Beloit Turner athlete and current Arkansas-Pine Bluff player Konner Giddley smacked a pair of doubles and drove in three runs in the 7-inning victory. Bishop allowed seven hits and no runs in five innings, while former Janesville Parker player Caleb Wilson and Charlie Jackson each pitched an inning in the triumph.
