Without a made 3-pointer in the first half, the Cougars (2-3 overall, 1-3 conference) made eight in the second half and Griffin Roth made a big three following a forced turnover with 28.3 seconds remaining, bringing Janesville Craig within 72-70. 

Turner responded with a layup and the Regents broke Cougar pressure after a made Janesville Craig basket and Regent Corvalis Stewart's basket provided the final margin.

Cougar senior post Nolan Duffy scored 11 second-half points and led Janesville Craig with 17. Nathan Daskum added 15 points and eight rebounds.

Sam Strange added 15 points including four threes off the bench for the Regents (2-1 overall and conference). Madison West made 11 threes in the contest.
