Janesville Craig’s Ava Schaffner throws to first for an out during a game against crosstown rival Janesville Parker at the Youth Sports Complex on Tuesday, April 15. Schaffner and the Cougars won that game, 4-3, over the Vikings, but weren't so fortunate Wednesday as Middleton shut out Craig, 15-0.

JANESVILLE — Janesville Craig managed a mere two hits off Middleton starter Megan Button, and as a whole, struggled to find its rhythm against the Middleton Cardinals in a Big Eight Conference softball Wednesday.

While the Cougars were unable to score a run, the Cardinals had 15 runners plant a foot on home plate in a 15-0 win at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex.
