JANESVILLE Mary Enyart and Madalyn Mucha will be honored Tuesday at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville.
Mercyhealth will honor the two members of its coding and billing team with the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) Interdisciplinary Care Partner Award on Sept. 29, at 9:30 a.m.
PSW says the Interdisciplinary Care Partner Award is presented to an individual, a group of individuals or an organization that has recognized the value of pharmacy professionals in having a positive impact on patient care.
PSW said recipients are non- pharmacy professionals who have positively interacted with pharmacy professionals and have regularly promoted pharmacy professionals presence and participation in interdisciplinary care teams and other roles related to delivering patient care.
Enyart is a Mercyhealth manager of coding, and Mucha is a Mercyhealth medical coding auditor.
Mercyhealth said the two have partnered with the organizations clinical pharmacy team to advance pharmacist-provided patient care through expertise in coding, compliance, documentation and revenue cycle processes.
