JANESVILLE — A Janesville woman was sentenced Tuesday to 16 years in prison for causing an April 2024 crash that killed four residents of a Whitewater group home and injured four others.

Lexus Boedecker was driving a vehicle that belonged to Willow Winds group home in Whitewater, with four cognitively disabled passengers, when she blew through a stop sign at U.S. Highway 12/89 and East County Line Road Lima township in Rock County. That set off a chain reaction crash with two other vehicles.
