JANESVILLE A Janesville man was arrested for driving while intoxicated Thursday night on the 500 block of Linn Street in Janesville.
Michael James Mansell, 51, faces charges of seventh offense operating while intoxicated and operating while evoked. A patrolling officer initiated a traffic stop after reportedly seeing behiavors that indicated impairment.
Mansell reportedly failed field sobriety tests. Results are still pending on a blood draw. Mansell is on probation for OWI (5th or 6th) and is required to have an ignition interlock device on any vehicle he drives. He also has a .02 restriction. He was also charged with tampering or failing to install an ignition interlock device and a felony probation hold.
Mansell was held at the Rock County Jail.
An initial appearance for Mansell has not yet been docketed in Rock County Circuit Court.
