JANESVILLE — A planned affordable housing project at 101 Rockport Road in Janesville’s Fourth Ward is no longer happening due to “financial constraints,” the developer has told city officials.

Now, the developers of that defunct project are eyeing a new site for multi-family housing — a large city-owned surface parking lot adjacent to Rock County Brewing Company, 10 N. Parker Dr., in downtown Janesville.
