A slow-no-wake order is placed at Afton when the water level exceeds 8 feet. The Rock River at Afton is now at 7.67 feet.

Because based on local ordinance it still exceeds 6.5 feet, the slow-no-wake restriction remains in effect from the Indianford Dam south to the WBR Townline Road Bridge. According to the National Weather Prediction Service, as of Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., the water level there was predicted to be at 7.7 feet on Thursday.

According to U.S. Geological Survey Gauges, the Rock River at Lake Koshkonong has dropped to 7.99 feet.

The slow-no-wake for the river between the WBR Townline Road bridge and the Illinois state line is no longer in place. That stretch moves to slow-no-wake when the water level exceeds 8.5 feet.

There had been no restriction from Newville south to the Indianford Dam.
