JANESVILLE— The YMCA of Northern Rock County has announced the addition of seven new members to its board of directors.
The new board members will help steer the organization’s strategic direction, supporting the Y’s focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
“We’re thrilled to welcome this talented and diverse group of leaders to our Board,” CEO Angela Bolson said in a release. “Their professional expertise, volunteerism, and dedication to Rock County will be instrumental in guiding the Y’s strategic growth and increasing our impact across the region.”
The board members are:
Mike Davis
Attorney Mike Davis practices transactional law at Nowlan Law, specializing in real estate, corporate law, and estate planning. He currently serves on the FJI Board and is the board president of Kandu Industries.
Davis has previously served as board president for HealthNet of Rock County and has volunteered as a swim instructor for children with developmental disabilities. He was honored as the 2024 Alumni of the Year by the Leadership Development Academy.
Sara Seiling
A nurse at Mercy Hospital, Seiling is a devoted community volunteer. Her service began at UW Oshkosh, where she was president of Be The Match, a nonprofit that connects blood stem cell donors with patients battling blood cancers and disorders. She continues to support the cause while raising her family and enjoying the outdoors.
Claire Gray
Gray is the director of policy & dtrategic initiatives at Forward Janesville and has a background in supply chain management and nonprofit development. Her leadership roles include board president of the Children’s Museum of Rock County, vice chair of the Downtown Janesville Business Improvement District, and vice president of the MOMS Club of Rock County. She is also a Rock County foster parent.
Dona Hohensee
Hohensee serves as executive director of the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation and brings decades of experience in healthcare business development, having worked at Beaver Dam Community Hospital and UnityPoint Health — Meriter Hospital. Her personal interests include running, biking, gardening, hosting retreats, and reading.
Mike Moderski
Moderski is the controller at First Community Bank in Milton. With over 15 years of volunteer service at the E.D. Locke Public Library, he has also contributed to the Governor’s Task Force on Student Debt and the Council on Financial Literacy. Moderski was part of the McFarland School District Referendum Committee and brings enthusiasm and optimism to the YMCA Board.
Tobin Ryan
Ryan is a partner at Seidler Equity Partners, supporting businesses and teams toward success. He serves on multiple Rock County boards and has been a long-time youth sports coach. A lifelong YMCA member, Ryan is dedicated to helping the organization strategically plan for its future and long-term sustainability.
Tracey Trezek
Trezek is the retail banking center manager at Old National Bank and an active community volunteer. She currently serves as Treasurer at West Elementary in Milton and coaches Milton Youth Basketball. A mother of two young athletes, she offers a strong family- and community-oriented perspective to the Y Board.
