First held in 1958, the Rock County Historical Society’s Tallman Arts Festival is Wisconsin’s oldest art fair.
All artwork is juried, and artists from around the region will be on-site throughout the weekend to share and sell their handcrafted creations — with prices to suit a range of budgets.
Artistic mediums will include pottery, jewelry, paintings, mixed media photography and fiber art. The Janesville Art League will also host artist demonstrations and a curated selection of league members’ work will be for sale in the Tallman Carriage House.
In addition to exhibits from regional artists, festival activities will include food trucks, a beverage tent, children’s activities, and a silent auction.
“The Rock County Historical Society is proud to continue our tradition of gathering talented artists from across the region to share their creativity and artistic talents with the community” said Executive Director Kathe Crowley Conn. “We are honored to celebrate the arts with the Rock County community,”
