JANESVILLE A statewide tourism group is launching a digital passport that plucks local markets, trails and and landmarks to offer a statewide scavenger hunt of Wisconsin things to do and see.

The Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association rings in national Travel and Tourism Week with the launch of the agencys Destinations Pass, a free digital passport that runs through Sept. 1.

The program earmarks Janesville as a biking, boating and picnicking destination, touting the City of Parks 25-plus miles of bike trails, and its 2,600 acres of parks, alongside multiple boat launches along the Rock River for kayaks and motorboats.

The passport is tied to the agencys Postmarked: Essential program, which highlights farms, artisan markets, scenic trails, and local landmarks throughout Wisconsin.

Postmarked: Essential has 20 featured stops in Wisconsin cities including Milwaukee, Green Bay, Appleton, Door County, Racine, Platteville, Hayward, and Janesville.

Travelers can sign up at the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourisms website and get a pass texted or emailed.

Once registered, pass holders can browse participating destinations, plan visits, and check in at registered local attractions to collect points they can redeem to get tourism prizes, including a complimentary two-night stay for two at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse.
