Dolly Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, is seeking more time to secure a lawyer in a legal battle involving a restraining order taken out by her estate. The order was granted to Parton’s estate against Seaver and his security company. Representing himself, Seaver filed a motion in a Tennessee court on Friday to delay the hearing set for Oct. 9 by about 10 days. The estate, managed by Danny Nozell, accuses Seaver of threatening to do violence and damage Parton’s legacy. Seaver, who was chosen by Parton to announce her death, has not commented on the allegations. The judge has not yet responded to Seaver’s request for a delay.

CBS Sports and Tony Romo have officially parted ways one month after the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback pleaded no contest to charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Romo had been on leave since his July 23 arrest in Wisconsin. He had been the lead game analyst for CBS’ NFL coverage since 2017. CBS Sports announced Romo's exit in a statement that said they had mutually agreed to part ways. Romo was arrested following a traffic stop as he was driving south on Interstate 43 in Wisconsin.

A federal lawsuit in California accuses Christian worship leader Sean Feucht of lying about needing funds for a nationwide concert tour. Â Southern California businessperson Steve Bray claims Feucht solicited a $250,000 donation for the tour, which was already fully funded by another large organization. Bray's initial lawsuit was dismissed due to lack of evidence, but he has refiled with more specifics. Feucht, known for protest concerts during the pandemic, denies the allegations. He insists all donations were used appropriately. This isn't the first time Feucht has faced financial scrutiny. Former associates have accused him of mismanagement and emotional abuse.
