The Wall of Honor Class of 2025 includes Ivan FitzRandolph, Rod Hilton, Theresa Rusch and Bill Schrank. Inductees are featured on plaques in the physical Wall of Honor in the high school’s event commons.
FitzRandolph graduated from Milton Union High School in 1939. A World War II veteran, he spent 16 years on the Milton School Board and was an administrator at Milton College.
FitzRandolph was posthumously inducted. His son, Jeff, accepted the honor on his behalf.
Jeff FitzRandolph said his dad was “quite a man and was “very honored” to speak about him.

“Thanks to the organizers, and all of you for sharing this evening with us. It’s an honor for me to represent our family in recognizing a loving husband, father, grandfather and truly a great gentleman,” Jeff FitzRandolph said.
Hilton graduated from Milton Union in 1966. He was a social studies teacher in the district from 1972 to 2005.
“Rod is more than a coach or a teacher. He is a hero,” said Kari Klebba, emcee for the event and the district’s communications and safety officer.
“There are hundreds of people in this town who deserve this award as much as me or more,” Hilton said.
Rusch was referred to as a “trailblazer” by the district when it announced the inductees in April. She served in multiple roles in her tenure in the district, which spanned from 1978 to 2013. She was a teacher, school counselor, an alcohol and other drug abuse program coordinator, principal and interim superintendent.
Jeff FitzRandolph speaks about his fahter, inductee Ivan FitzRandolp, who was a Milton School Board member and Milton College administrator.

“I really do appreciate all the opportunities that I had as a part of the School District of Milton, as well as the community of Milton, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve taken part in,” Rusch said, later thanking everyone for the honor.
Schrank was a choir director at the middle and high schools.
“I am touched by the number of my former students who are here tonight,” Schrank said.
Superintendent Rich Dahman said he was pleased and humbled to recognize the four inductees for their legacy and impact on the community.
“Tonight we’re honoring four extremely impressive people whose achievements left a lasting mark here in Milton,” Dahman said.
High School Principal Jeremy Bilhorn said the program recognized four remarkable individuals whose lives and careers made lasting contributions to the school district.
