Janesville and Anchorage each won a shootout 3-2 at the Janesville Ice Arena in North American Hockey League play on Friday and Saturday.
In both games, the Wolverines opened the scoring before the Jets scored the next two goals to go up 2-1. Anchorage equalized both nights to force a scoreless overtime period.
Christian Venticinque had a goal in Friday’s game for Janesville (15-10-2-1, 33 points) before scoring the winner in a six-round shootout and added an assist Saturday.
Jake Merens and Nick Sajevic each had a goal in Saturday’s game after both recorded assists Friday night.
Matthew Alberti got the start in net in both games, making 27 saves Friday and 42 on Saturday.
