Perez Reyes was charged with hit-and-run involving death after Hall ran into oncoming traffic and was struck by Perez Reyes’ vehicle.

Hall was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

On Tuesday, a court interpreter translated for Perez Reyes, who spoke Spanish. The translator read a document which stated his lawyer, Eric R. Pangburn, was requesting an extension of the case.

Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig told Perez Reyes that his lawyer needed to file a notice of retainer so the court would know that he had representation.

An adjourned initial appearance is scheduled for Thursday, March 7 at 10 a.m. in the jury assembly room at the Rock County Courthouse.
