Anyone interested in running for a seat on the county board has until Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. to turn in paperwork and signatures to be put on the ballot.

To be on the ballot, potential candidates are required to have a minimum of 50 signatures and a maximum of 100 signatures. For more information about running for a seat, contact Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson at 608-757-5660.

All 29 county board seats are up for election in 2026. The 2026 spring election is on April 7. If a primary is necessary, it will be on Feb. 17.
