Correction: An article published Dec. 16 in The 69 incorrectly said Rock County Supervisor Chris Cullen's District 20 includes a portion of the city of Milton. In fact, District 20 only includes portions of the city and town of Janesville. The article is corrected below. The 69 regrets the error.
JANESVILLE — Chris Cullen, a Rock County Board member who serves parts of the city of Janesville and town of Janesville, will not run again in April.
Cullen, the incumbent in District 20, filed a notice of non-candidacy, County Clerk Lisa Tollefson announced Tuesday. Cullen’s district is made up of the town of Janesville’s wards 6-8 on the town’s northeast side; the city of Janesville’s wards 24-25 on the city’s north and west sides.
All 29 county board seats are up for election on April 7. If a primary is needed, it will be on Feb. 17.
Potential candidates have until Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. to submit paperwork and signatures to be placed on the ballot. Potential candidates are required to submit a minimum of 50 signatures and a maximum of 100 signatures. Tollefson can be contacted at 608-757-5660 for more information.
